Scheduling on Google Business Profile

This article explains what you can publish to Google Business Profile and how scheduling works in the platform.

What content can I publish?

You can schedule two content types in Google Business Profile from the platform:

• Post: publish an update on your Google Business Profile. Video is not supported.

• Photo: publish a photo or video without text.

Schedule a post

To publish an update on your Google Business Profile, select the Post option. You can add:

• Text only

• Text + link: the URL must start with http://. It will publish with the text, a More info button, and the featured image linked to that URL.

• Text + image

• Text + link + image: publishes with a More info button, but the featured image from the link is not previewed.

Please note:

• The button text is not editable. It always shows More info.

• You must add text if you want to publish a link.

Schedule a photo

To publish a photo or video to your Google Business Profile, select the Photo option and attach or drag the file into your post.
