Instagram Direct Messages don't display in my Inbox
If your Instagram direct messages do not appear in the inbox, the account owner has likely disabled access to Instagram Direct Messages for connected tools.
How to fix it
Open the Instagram app on your mobile device.
Open your profile and tap Settings and privacy.
Tap Messages and story replies.
Tap Message controls.
Under Connected tools, enable Allow access to messages.
