Schedule and Post on Pinterest
This article explains which Pinterest formats you can publish from the platform and how to schedule them.
Available Pinterest formats
Pinterest has simplified its publishing formats. You can now work with two main types: image and video.
This means organic pin formats, including Idea Pins, were reduced to image pins and video pins. For on-site publishing, multi-page pins are no longer available. Multi-image, multi-video, and mixed media pins are merged into a single video.
Full details are in Pinterest’s documentation: Changes to Pin creation.
Format types in the platform
You can schedule and publish Pinterest content as standard Pins or with the new format using an image or video.
Promote on Pinterest
After publishing content through the platform, you can promote your posts from Pinterest. You can only promote the original format you published. See the Pinterest ads guide for more details.
